In this video work, the artist visits the remains of the Berlin Wall.
The Berlin Wall was a division between East and West Germany, and a symbol of the division between communist Eastern Europe and the capitalist West during the Cold War. It was a historic moment in European history when the Wall came down in 1989. The artist reminds us how the traces of division are still visible in the landscape. He offers a unique perspective on German history, making his reflections particularly compelling.
